Northern Ireland
The Giant's Causeway - Antrim
UNESCO declared it a World Heritage Site in 1986. The Giant's Causeway has about 40,000 interlocking columns made of basalt. The columns have a unique hexagonal shape. We advise you to visit this site during your year in Ireland because it is particularly incredible.

Dunluce Castle - Antrim
Dunluce Castle is located 3 minutes away from Giant’s Causeway. If you take a bus tour, you will definitely have a stop there. Dunluce Castle is a medieval castle in Northern Ireland, the seat of the McDonnell clan, now in ruins. It is located in front of the sea. If you like medieval times, we suggest you stop there during your trip to Northern Ireland.
Carrick-a-rede Rope Bridge - Antrim
In recent years, the bridge has become a focal point of the Causeway Coastal Route, which runs from Belfast to Derry-Londonderry.
However, crossing the bridge still requires a certain amount of guts. But if you succeed, you will be rewarded with a breathtaking view of the island of Rathlin and even Scotland. Moreover, you will be just a stone's throw away from the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Giant's Causeway. Take care of everything before you step on the bridge, make sure you don't look down!

Belfast - Antrim
Belfast is the capital of Northern Ireland and was the birthplace of the RMS Titanic. The Titanic museum is a must-see on any visit to Northern Ireland. The City Hall is one of the most iconic buildings in the city. We recommend you to spend at least one day to visit the city.
Transport and Accommodation
The North of Ireland is only 2 hours away from Dublin by bus. The bus is the easiest way to go, and the cheapest way as well.
Bus timetables:
There is a bus every hour to go to Belfast from Dublin. You can do a one-day trip or choose to stay during the weekend and book an AirBnb or an hotel.
